Thanks for your interest in the Washington State Chapter of Phi Delta Kappa! We are always interested in adding new members, who understand and embrace the need to cultivate and support the next generation of educators (service), recognize and celebrate the outstanding contributions of educators from across the spectrum (leadership), and share and distribute accurate knowledge and research about our profession (research). We hope you will choose to join our Washington state chapter of PDK.

A breakdown of membership categories follows:

Professional Membership
Dues $100.00 (includes $25.00 for chapter dues)
(Required of all members who have earned certification)

Candidate for Teacher Certification Membership
Dues $52.50 (includes $12.50 for chapter dues)

(A reduced rate extended to future teachers enrolled in undergraduate and graduate preparation programs)

Membership Reinstatement

You may also update your member info at the PDK International site.

Payment of dues includes a full year of membership, which will begin upon receipt of the chapter’s report of initiation at the PDK International Office. In addition to initial membership applications, two other application forms are available on the web site. If you are a current member of another chapter and wish to transfer your membership to the Washington state chapter, please use the Membership Transfer form. If you would like to retain membership in your current chapter and also participate in Washington state chapter activities, please use the Dual Membership form.

Be sure you have written your email address on the PDK membership application form. This is very important, because it is the chapter’s primary means of contact with you – newsletters, notifications of meetings, etc.
