Research Conference
“High-Performing Educators: What makes a great teacher?”
When: October 11, 2008 (Noon to 5pm)
The PDK Washington Chapter Research committee is pleased to announce its second Research Conference for PDK members and state-wide educators. The conference theme is aligned with the upcoming fall conference sponsored by the PDK International which will take place in San Antonio, TX. Thus, this is the opportunity for all the Washington Kappans to address educational issues and research on how educators are sharing their research on “High Performing Educators – What makes a great teacher?”.
The single most important factor in children’s education may be the quality of teachers.
The second annual PDK Washington Chapter research conference will focus on the attributes and characteristics of great teachers. Do you have current research you wish to share describing high performing K-12 teachers? The audience will include K-12 educators and faculty in higher education from throughout the State of Washington.
